Good day, Ladies and Gentlemen.
This is my first “official” post on Mere Tradition. Of course, I have sent off a couple of posts before, but this is my first “real” post intended for this audience.
Rather than write a lengthy post about what this Substack is all about, I decided to record a quick podcast to explain what I am doing, and what things will look like for paid and unpaid subscribers.
Now, I understand that some will also want the information in a written format for quick viewing, so here are the Coles notes:
Mere Tradition will act as a “hub” for all my work.
I have stuff in a lot of different places, so Mere Tradition will be where all that stuff comes together so you can keep up on my work, if that is your thing!
There will be a decent amount of free content for unpaid subs, although I do encourage you to sign up!
Paid subscribers will have access to the following goodies:
Early access to my podcasts (both video and audio), unless the content is something time-sensitive or “breaking” in which case it will go up quickly without a delay on my YouTube channel and to all major podcast platforms.
For now, two premium articles a month
The plan is to produce a premium long-form audio podcast with music, research, notes, etc., which is the goal over the next few months
Also, if you are someone who has considered supporting me in a “patron” sort of way, you can use this platform as a way to do that.
Substack is pro “free speech” (although I understand that unfettered free speech isn’t really a Catholic teaching, but you know what I mean) which means I won’t be “cancelled” like some people are on other funding platforms like Patreon.
Okay, that about sums it up, and I encourage you to listen to the audio recording for more information!
Cheers
Kennedy
Glad to see you here!
I’d like to be a paying subscriber to your Substack
