Thanks, Kennedy, for the story of how you got here. I, too, had a long winding journey, and finally realized that I had to make a break from all the modernist nonsense. I also lost all my "friends" and family the process, but what a joy it was to find the SSPX, and to make new friends! They are truly Catholic, like in the 50s when I was in school and learning the Baltimore Catechism. I'm at peace now, and just have to let the rest go.
I don’t listen to Pope news much because I need to stay focused on trying to live a holy life and serving our Lord to the best of my capabilities. I can’t deal with negative distractions. I am grateful for the people who do follow the news but I just can’t or I may just dribble off the court, so to speak.
