Update: Dealing with a health issue, and I am leaving for a Pilgrimage

Hello All,

I am presently dealing with a bout of pneumonia, it is not too serious, and I am recovering, but it is too difficult for me to record a podcast right now because I get winded when speaking for a length of time. Also, a dear friend of ours was killed suddenly in a car accident late last week, and our week has been consumed with helping to organize the funeral and wake.

She was a pious and holy woman, greatly devoted to the Blessed Mother and had repeatedly completed the First Saturday devotions. She always wore her scapular, and miraculously — given the circumstances — received last rites. In any event, her death was tragic but we can be assured that she died a holy death.

Also, on Monday I am leaving with my wife to go on a pilgrimage in Italy for ten days, so there are a number of last-minute things to take care of for that as well.

All considered, I won’t be able to provide the usual array of podcasts until I return. I had hoped to stock pile a few episodes, but the pneumonia has made that impossible to do.

I will still upload the chapters for the Charismania book, and will get back to releasing the usual podcasts when I return. My apologies for the lull in content creation.

Please, if you could, pray for the woman and her family. They are very private people so I will not include their names, but her husband was also in the accident and will recover, although with significant injuries. Even without her name, I am sure God will hear the prayers for her and her family and know how to direct them.

Also, if you could please pray that I recover from this illness in time for my trip, and that my wife and I enjoy safe travels, I would be very appreciative.
