The last thing you said about the consecrations is actually the reason, why I only go to the masses of the SSPX. At this moment I thought "finally someone mentions the scope of the problem". We know how yucky many ordinations in the 70s and 80s were, where Bishops even wrote their own formulas etc. That's the problem: one can't be sure.

And it's not only me: One of the principal reasons, Msgr. Lefebvre gave for going on with his consecrations in 1988 was, that no one knows the intentions of the post-conciliar Bishops and therefore validity is not guaranteed. I am so greatful for his heroic act, so that with the SSPX, there really is a safe haven today.

Msgr. Lefebvre, pray for us!

St. Pius X, pray for us!

Asking protestants to actually pray for a good intention seems very good because this occasion of them praying may contribute to an eventual conversion.

I’m so glad you recommended Fr Hesse. There is a Fr Hesse Audio and video channel on Rumble with 34 videos of his talks. For a good introduction to Fr Hesse, I’d suggest listening to “A conversation with Fr Hesse #1.” He really opened my eyes to Tradition. He died in 2006 so when he talks about the current Pope, he’s referring to John Paul II. https://rumble.com/vw5476-a-conversation-with-fr.-hesse-1-audio-video-footage.html
