I remember when Traditionis Custodes came out Monsignor Pope apologized for having criticized Trads in the past.

Sorry I was so crusty. I believe that the NO is valid and licit. But I have this nagging sense that the NO does not somehow provide the Grace and power that the Vetus ordo does. If my wife would go, I would attend a Tridentine Mass regularly, given that I live almost in the heart of SSPX country, with FSSP nearby also.

Thank you Kennedy. Love your content. Can I ask that next time you have a priest on you ask him to bless us at the conclusion?

Kennedy, you should do a 45 min interview with both Monsignor Pope and Father Murr that will go on for 6 hours. Joking not joking.

Sadly many priests don’t see the necessity and urgency of the sacrament it seems. My dad had an emergency this weekend while he was out of town. I called a friend on that town to find a priest to go anoint him and called their emergency line. The priests at the parish never even called my mom back. Praise be to God it wasn’t as bad as we had originally thought but had he died there he would’ve died without the sacraments!!

I reckon anyone that doesn't assist at the traditional Mass and Sacraments, where not impossible, isn't serious about his salvation. I'm not saying it's sufficient; I am saying it's necessary.

Wrong, Phil, you have a lot to learn, or unlearn. Don't let yourself get too far afield.

OK, perhaps not absolutely necessary, but it does smack of lukewarmness, don't you think? And how would you account for the millions losing their faith in the Real Presence if not actually leaving the Church altogether? Does it not seem to you that the authors and proponents of the Novus Ordo are trying to steer people far afield of the Faith?
