Thank you for putting my thoughts and feelings into words Kennedy. Everything you said is true.

“ I hope the world hates me… “ I fully agree. When you described new trads, you described me to a T.

I spent 25 years in the Novus Ordo, and finally discovered Tradition; so I’m a relative newcomer to the fullness of Tradition. I used to say there was only Catholic and non-Catholic, not politicized conservative and liberal Catholics. If one subscribes to Catholicism as conformity with the deposit of faith, then one eventually begins to question, in the modern Church, if one is even Catholic because of the errors embraced by the established hierarchy and promoted to us. Rejecting the errors and desiring to worship with those who went before us, instead of as Anglicans, earns reprobation. So be it.

“Late have I loved you” St Augustin famously said, and now I’m again a newcomer; So, I wonder with a smile; am I, like the Neocons, a Neotrad? I admit I have a burden of Novus Ordo baggage to shed, and hesitate to pat myself on the back and wear the Trad label. I rejoice that others have kept the lights on for me and other who seek that treasure buried in the field…

Can you be a traditional Catholic while also not attending the Latin Mass? I feel like I am pretty traditional but I enjoy Mass in my language because I can obviously understand it perfectly.

I attend a Pius Novus Ordo Holy Mass which I love. It’s all I’ve ever known. I don’t drive and there is no Latin Mass available. I respect the TLM and definately Tradution. I don’t listen to anything coming from Francis sadly. St. Maximilian Kolbe Ora Pro Nobis. 🙏❤️

Excellently put, my friend! We thankfully FINALLY have found our " pearl of great price", I like to tell our homeschooling group as I encourage them to be open to and learn about the TLM( most being in novus ordo parishes). One receptive person who now attends the TLM said it is the " gift that keeps on giving". I had to respond and say not only does it keep on giving, we can never " have our fill"!( I am the wife of subscriber John here!)
