Hugh is such a patient and humble apologist . We tried to bring him to our church for a talk, but the Archbishop’s man said “no way, we believe in evolution” , so he spoke at someone’s home to a group of 25. He is so devoted to spreading this truth.
to think we are the center, seems more humanist to me. Seeing that all creation was made for Christ, not merely for man. We are but just dust, it is His life and grace that makes us anything more than just being mere creatures by Baptism. Also, seems like a stretch to say Augustine would give his life for literal taking of Genesis 1-11, when even Mr. Owens explains he didn't read the right translation according to his take. But the Fathers seems to even clearly teach that the separation of the Light and Darkness, isn't a literal, but refers to the Good Angels and Bad. Not literary separation of Light and Darkness for the Stars and Sun are made later in according to the sequence. I sense the clergy are responsible for these interpretation for this reason, with all respect to Mr. Owens, there is a balance to Scripture and Tradition teach, for such reason, for Protestant perspective on Scripture alone goes into sketchy waters, for there is much in mere Tradition that expands on the Social order of Christian life and sciences and art. I do not see that this takes away from the Father being creator, by applying all, not just one or the other, like creationist seem to expand on. We clearly see mirco natural selection works in nature law (ex. someone has parents with blue eyes, might be someone is coming out with blue eyes, ha) , but we know evolution does not explain creation, nor does it relate to science alone for it is Kabbalist. It is why Catholicism is great, for it uses all things and draws it to Christ. The Cross stands still, but while the World turns... Carthusian motto+

I was a committed creationist as a young Protestant. Thank you for this video!
You should have Fr. Paul Robinson on for his take on Geocentrism. Maybe host a discussion between Hugh and Fr?
My thoughts, did not Augustine say,
“Of ourselves we are nothing"
-St. Augustine
