Aren't some protestants in ignorance about the Catholic Church and their need to belong to the One True Christian faith? Wouldn't that make them less culpable?
Certainly there are varying levels of culpability, as tbere are with all our sins, and only God assesses this fully. However, being ignorant is not salvific.
sorry, pushed button somehow - who reached pinnacles of power within the Church, but are not shown the copious hagiography and writings of the true Saints throughout its history. So that I’d assume that an infinitely merciful God would take such in a sense brainwashing to consideration for why many otherwise faithful and good Christians may not get the opportunities us born and reused Catholics have had to participate in the Holy Sacraments and feel the very real Holy Spirit in our lives, and of course the extra benefits of praying by intercession to Mary the Virgin Mother of God’s only begotten Son as well as the many Saints of our 2,000 years of Church history. If I had to guess, I'd say maybe/probably. But only God can know that, for only God truly knows an individual's heart. Therefore it would be dangerous to assume that.
