I am not surprised at this. I am surprised it didn't happen sooner. I think Fr. Collins was under some illusion that you can openly attack the conciliar reforms (Vatican II, New Mass etc) and still have permission to continue a ministry under them. I think he is learning that his false concept of obedience comes at a price. Thank God for the courage and wisdom of Abp. Lefebvre. Fr. Collins and his ministry are in my prayers.

Are you sure you are able to access all of that archive? Many in the lists won't play. Only some of them that are clicked directly from the calendar. We really must make efforts to download all such material before the globalist cabal remove all such important information from us all! I need to figure out a way of downloading multiple pages from certain sites, especially if such content is not available in print/book or is hard to obtain! All that they are doing is the start of global Totalitarianism!

Excellent summary made by Fr Collins - I did not realize he had switched to the Vetus Ordo. And an excellent commentary by you. I am in the unenviable position of living in an area without the TLM and it sometimes drives me crazy when I attend a Novus Ordo Mass, having sung in a schola for the TLM in another area for 2 years. I had to move 300 miles away to take care of my elderly father, who goes to the NO Mass.

The priests are orthodox and very respectful and reverent. But the Mass is so shallow - the equivalent of a fast food rite that just skims over a token bit of the important concepts of Holy Mass. It's no wonder most Catholics don't believe in the Real Presence. Sometimes I could cry. But it is my cross for now. At least daily Mass is quiet and contemplative and the Adoration Chapel is available. After my Dad passes, I will have the opportunity to move close to a TLM church and/or build a chapel for canceled priests to say Mass.

God bless you for carrying a torch in the darkness.

These gaslighting and grooming you have described sound like totalitarian tactics.

So, what you're saying is that the Powers That Be have "Thou Shalt Not Criticize The Novus Ordo" as their First Commandment, the violation of which is a sin against faith, a violation of the virtue of religion, and formal heresy, which, of course, requires immediate removal from ministry.

What struck me most, Hall, was your comment that going to the NO and offer up the suffering as You’re going there to be abused.

What do you make of Pope Benedict's distinction saying the Novus Ordo is the ordinary expression of the Latin Rite whereas the TLM is the the extraordinary expression of the same Latin Rite?

Am I misunderstanding Summorum Pontificum? Or does it indeed say that both rites are just different expressions of the same Latin Rite? Seemingly, this contradicts what you've said above, right?

Never mind the poor loss of those good priests. What about what the parishioners have lossed? They can no longer attend a Tridentine Latin Mass at that parish or under those priests. Look what they have lossed, and that of many other parishes that are scrapping the TLM. There used to be TLM at a Church in Corby for several years. The priest was moved to another district of the diocese. He can't advertise that his Masses are in Latin. He managed to get Bishop Schneider over to his new district. It was all organised secretly. I travelled an hour only to find that the TLM was no longer held at his parish, and had to find my way to a school where it was held. Absolutely crazy that we are treating a TLM like an illegal Acid House Rave of the late eighties n early nineties!

That link to the archive seems a bit wonky. It's stuck on the category of "sermons" and only for 2022. Would you have a direct link to his evolution series? Thank you.
