I've never heard of the guy. That was quite a take-down, Kennedy, and I appreciate the heads up and the lessons.

For so many years I have prayed to the Holy Family and the Holy Ghost to help me stay always faithful, to help me recognize and reject heresies and modern tricksters that are heretics in disguise, and to never let me form a thought or desire that would cause me to want to leave the Church. These prayers have been answered in my life, and the difficult road a Catholic must follow has been smoothed for me by way of unwavering faith.

I listen to you, Taylor Marshal, and the Institute of Catholic Culture for true Catholic teaching, faithful encouragement, and uncovering of demonic heresies which are always on the attack from every side.

Thank you for this and your many valuable teachings. I am happy to remain a reader and small supporter of your mission. Bless you and your growing family!

Your takedown was just. Your correction was eminently fraternal (in the guise of one fellow taking his wayward brother behind the woodshed). The larger grief stems from the absence of a strong father who should establish clear boundaries in the home so that the children don’t wrangle so unbecomingly in the first place. This one dustup (not lacking in consequence) is emblematic of the worldwide theological chaos that has stemmed from deep, painful ambiguity. The larger, grief nears anguish when so many souls are at stake.

Hard to maintain joy in such an atmosphere, but another Baby Hall is a very good thing to focus on. Wishing you and your family peace and a safe delivery.

(Last night’s loss was painful indeed.)

Access to social media and the thirst for personal recognition (or even infamy) has led too many people to utter too many words: “In the multitude of words there shall not want sin: but he that refraineth his lips is most wise.” Proverbs 10:19

Kennedy, are you the strawman I’ve been looking for all my life?

The Council of Constance mandates ecumenical councils every ten years in 1417.

Given that there have only been five total since then...

I hope we aren’t excommunicated for agreeing that a non infallible recommendation from a council is, in fact, a non infallible recommendation 🤣

one of many examples, thank you, Father

What I love about that example in particular is the near unanimity of opinion that it was a bad idea that no reasonable person would want to see happen, even from those who were alive at times!

I was hoping someone would make a video responding to him, he has gotten out of hand and if anything his dangerous views lead people away from the faith. Thank you for doing this.

I haven't kept up with Dr. Marshall for some years now, but he's the reason I finally started praying my rosary every day, for which I'm extremely grateful.

I always look askance when folks treat Marshall like he's the trad boogeyman. Too many online figures talk badly about him while refusing to engage with him (or his actual words) directly--or with any other trads, for that matter. There's dialogue with the Protestants, the Orthodox, atheists, even the odd sedevacantist, but never with the common traditionalist. It's a scandalous lack of charity and intellectual honesty at play.

Why did you come to Substack Sir. I left YouTube for you all and now you are here with the same kind of contents, talking about who is good or bad.

I don’t like listening to you, Taylor Marshall, Jurado, Matt Fradd etc. All of you are not helping in my opinion.

My issue is why are you on Substack? Oh dear. I don’t know why your content was suggested to me, and instead of something about the spiritual life, I’m seeing just that type of content I dislike your channels for, talking about others.

Please go

You can go just as easily. Also, if you looked at my Substack you would know that I rarely wage into these debates and instead focus on theology and history. But this was a special case.

There is no special case. Like, why do you think we need to know about your personal beef with some guy? You guys think we need to know these things?

Hey! Maybe I'll start talking about all the guys who don't like me or say bad things about me. No, not about me, about my friends. Oh dear!...

If you were not claiming to be a Catholic individual, I wouldn't care. But guess what, many so-called worldly people don't do this. They just move on with life and tidy their personal issues in real life.

I am a Sedevacantist, but I distance myself from Sedevacantists because they do this alot. But that doesn't negate the truth of Sedevacantism. Please you guys should stop this and actually do useful things. Who cares who you or some Jurado guy is? I have bills to pay... except this kind of content pays your bills, because it's gossip, and people would quickly click it. Then that's just sad.

Oh my. You’ve completely misunderstood the whole thing.

One can respond to attacks levelled against persons in a public manner with a public response. Goodness, this is a major part of what the Church fathers would do when they responded to allegations against them that called into question their character etc.

You are completely incoherent on this

The Church Fathers definitely spoke about the faith. What use would their writings be to me if they didn't touch on the faith? I am sure you don't think that all the Church Fathers responded to every attack they received.

One thing that stood out to me is that I couldn't find the main reason this Jurado guy was against Marshall. You didn't state it... at least to the extent I read it. I am sure he is not a mad man. He has his reasons. The Dimond Brothers have a reason why Taylor Marshall is questionable. They made a whole YouTube video about it and I believe them because they good at that type of stuff though I dislike that they do that type of content. Did you make your own content on that? Will you make a content every time someone spoke about Taylor Marshall?

I thank God that he has put you in a position that you have time like this. I wish I do.

Forgive me for disturbing you so, I am just not a fan of lay catholic contents. You can afford cameras and have enough money to sit around and read books, therefore you feel like you must start saying something and now a Church Father... Oh dear.

I am a Nigerian, so I may not know your situation. But I see you guys online talking much but saying nothing. I used to watch lay catholic content when I became a Traditional Catholic but stopped. When I did, I started attending to the faith by myself and I am better off for it. I am sure your contents have been helpful to others but I was just so irritated when I saw your content here. I was like "he is on Substack too????"

I am sorry but Substack feels like a safe space. People are vulnerable here and talk about simple things. It's fresh air. Please I beg you, don't bring it to Substack that's all I am saying. You have a YouTube to do that properly. Don't turn here into that type of place. It's my safe space please. Life is hard already, focus on your theology or let the Priests handle that and leave Jurado alone or go fight him. I would rather confront him face to face, then he can talk let's see what happens, than come online like some girl telling her friend group about some stuff. Contact the man and ask him what the issue is.

Wouldn't it be better if you met Jurado in person, talk it out and then he comes back online and apologise. Be wise! And stay away from my Substack hehehe

A friend of mine needs $600 for a Hernia Surgery. That would be a better thing to worry about or help out with if you can. focus!

Godspeed!
